Russian adventure - Elbrus

During my climb on Elbrus, argurably the highest mountain in Europe - me and my friends were staying at Prijut - a hut at some 4100 m. The accomodation was very basic but we loved it regardles - at least it was dry and a bit warmer then it would be in a tent on a snow! There was no heating and no running water. Therefore we had to melt snow to make any kind of drink. And at this height one has to dring a minimum of 2 litters a day to awoid altitude sickness. So our life was circulating around water making, which was taking forever! On a plus side at least it kept us occupied while waiting for the weather window of opportunity to summit the mountain.
